The Walsworth group farewell lunch for former graduate student and QTC scientist Matthew Turner. We are deeply thankful for his many contributions to the group and wish him all the best in his next endeavors!

In late December, Hyperfine — the portable, low-cost MRI company founded by Matt Rosen, Jonathan Rothberg, and Ron Walsworth in 2014 — became publicly traded on the Nasdaq stock exchange with the stock symbol HYPR.  Matt Rosen celebrated by getting a vanity license plate!  Early research that led to the Hyperfine MRI technology was performed in the Walsworth group from about 1995 to 2009.
