John Blanchard
QTC Scientist
Ph.D. Chemistry, University of California, Berkeley, 2014
B.S. Physics and B.S. Chemistry, Arizona State University, 2010
John’s research utilizes magnetic resonance to measure matter in many forms. This involves developing new strategies for medical imaging and chemical analysis, as well as searching for dark matter and violations of fundamental symmetries
Fun Fact: John enjoys growing hops and brewing his own beer!
Our paper Machine learning for improved current-density reconstruction from two-dimensional vector magnetic images has been published in Physical Review Applied!
Graduate student Reza Ebadi is this year’s winner of the Biruni Award! Congrats Reza!
