Ph.D. Physics, Harvard University, 2020
B.S. Engineering Physics, UC Berkeley, 2014
Matthew is focused on the development of NV diamond wide-field magnetic imaging applications in biological systems and integrated circuits along with exploring the discovery of new areas of applications. He is also working on improvement of the NV diamond sensors through diamond engineering and enhanced sensing protocol along with working with diamond growers to improve the scalability and accessibility of NV diamond sensors.
A paper on Characterisation of CVD diamond with high concentrations of nitrogen for magnetic-field sensing applications has been published in Materials for Quantum Technology!
A paper on Micron-Scale NV-NMR Spectroscopy with Signal Amplification by Reversible Exchange has been published in PRX Quantum!
A paper on Decoherence of ensembles of nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond has been published in Physical Review B.
